Contribute to Shaye's Campaign

Shaye Gadomski is a Greenbrier County native and returned to her hometown after earning a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from West Virginia University as well as a Victim Advocate Certification through their law school. She is the co-owner of A New Chapter Bookstore and active in local organizations including Wellspring Of Greenbrier, Lewisburg Downtown Business Association, Lewisburg Literary Festival, and Hillcrest Community Cemetery.

The beauty of a small town is that you can go from strangers to neighbors real quick. Now that I'm back home, I feel it's important to give back to a community that has given me so much over the years. Organizations like the United Way are helping me achieve my goal and form new relationships. I'm thankful for the opportunity and excited to see where it takes me.

I was born in Colorado, but have lived in Wyoming, Michigan, Georgia, Indiana, Oregon and of course West Virginia. I’ve got a wonderful husband and 2 fantastic children; a 5 year old son and 2 and a half year old daughter. I enjoy running, caving and reading when I’m not spending quality time with my family.

Professionally, I went to Indiana University for my Bachelors degree, and am a 2012 graduate of the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM). I am board certified in both internal medicine and osteopathic neuromuscular medicine (ONMM); completing my internal medicine residency at Good Samaritan Regional medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon and my ONMM+1 residency at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Lewisburg, WV.

I am currently an Associate Professor in the Osteopathic Principles and Practices department at WVSOM where I teach medical school students and residents. In addition to serving as faculty at the medical school, I practice both internal medicine and osteopathic manipulation at the Robert C. Byrd Clinic in Lewisburg WV.
