You are the essential piece!
Lat year, the United Way of Greenbrier Valley accomplished something extraordinary. Not only did we break our all-time fundraising record for the second year in a row, our small but mighty nonprofit also supported 24 partner programs, launched a new initiative, and served thousands of local families in need.
As the needs of our communities grow, so too does the necessity for funds. Last year’s successful campaign meant we were able to support eight new programs across our tri-county region, growing our partners to 32. These are programs that positively impact the most vulnerable members of our community—the youngest, the oldest and the most disenfranchised. Campaign 2018 also led to the addition of an AmeriCorps member to run WV 2-1-1, an information and referral hotline operated out of the Lewisburg office in service of those in need of resources in Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas Counties.
We encourage you to learn about the vital programs you support when you give to the United Way of Greenbrier Valley, many of which would simply cease to exist without the annual support of our campaign efforts.
