Dirt Dash 5-Mile Trail Run

Dirt Dash is 5 tough yet beautiful miles through the Greenbrier State Forest in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. This is a hilly, mostly single track trail race. You will experience six different trails during this challenging adventure.

Course Description:

Starting near shelter 1 you will head up the paved road approximately .5 miles until you reach the disc golf course. Here you bear left through the field, up the hill by the disc golf and connect to Old Fields trail. Follow Old Fields to Loop A on the right. Loop A winds up, down and around for approximately a mile and shoots you back onto Old Fields for a short bit until you hit Youngs Nature Trail. Here you take a left and stay on Youngs Nature Trail for a quick minute until you see The Holler on the right. Follow The Holler to the end. Approximately 1.5 mi. Take a left at the end touching on Old Roads then taking the next left onto Twin Pines. Twin Pines winds through and connects back with The Holler on the left then straight across Youngs Nature Trail connecting to a short trail back to the shelter area and the finish. Total: 5 miles

Rocky Ridge 15k Trail Run

Rocky Ridge is a little more than 9 tough yet beautiful miles through the Greenbrier State Forest in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. Rocky Ridge is comprised of 6 trails. Young's Nature Trail, Black Bear, Old Roads, Rocky Ridge, Old Fields and Old Fields Loop.

Course Description:

Race start is at shelter 1. Short connector trail and then right onto Young's Nature Trail. Follow Young's to intersection .75 miles .keep left onto Black Bear aprox 1.3 miles. Right onto Old Roads aprox 1 mile. Right toward Rocky Ridge trail head aprox  1 miles. Left at Rocky Ridge sign. At the base of Rocky Ridge you will be at approximately 4 miles. Rocky Ridge will be a 1.2 mile climb along a steep ridge line to the top of Kate's Mountain .  Elevation 3246 ft. Right onto Kate's mountain road 1.6 miles. Right onto Young's Nature trail aprox 1.25 miles. Stay left at the bottom and then left onto Old Fields. Aprox .5 miles to bottom loop A on the right. This is the final decent, single track aprox 1 mile to the finish.
